Description |
Image of Charles O. Pendexter (1844-1905), one of twenty-three photographic images from an album containing relatives of Jonathan D. Poor, Rufus Porter's nephew. He was a Lieutenant in Maine's 31st Infantry during the Civil War and a POW, captured on May 7, 1864 at Cold Harbor, VA. He is the husband of Elizabeth Gray, father of Elwood, Arthur, and Pauline ("Polly"). Image shows a seated man with a moustache facing the viewer with his left hand on his crossed left leg and his right arm leaning on the back of a chair. |
