One of twenty-two mural panels extracted from the James Norton House, 7 Norton Place, East Baldwin, ME and painted by Jonathan Poor, Rufus Porter's nephew. Original location: First floor entrance hall, right facing side of staircase. Includes the plaster above the door and on the left and right facing wall sections touching the door surround. These murals are among the latest of Poor's walls and have been described as the most elaborately detailed Poor murals documented to date. |
