A wooden sign with the date 1788 on it. The edges of the sign are raised as a frame and two small nails on either side of the numbers are level with this frame. The sign is black and the numbers were once painted a brick red, but most of this color has faded. The top edge of the frame has broken off from the rest of the sign. It was created around the time of the construction of the Nathan Church House (circa 1790).
